On Rainbow Wings I see her floating in the soft summer breeze Happily dancing among the flower rings, Radiating color in every hue, This butterfly gliding on rainbow wings. I watch as she kisses the flowers gently And sings to each of them one by one A most beautiful heavenly melody That makes them blush in the summer sun. One by one each flower joins in song And I close my eyes, intently listening, To the beautiful song started in my heart By this butterfly soaring on rainbow wings. ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, and I am all the better for it~ Terry A.
