My Wish

May the golden rays of sunlight
Wrap you in loving warmth
And caress your gentle frame
As it holds you close to its heart.

May the sweet, cool summer rain
Softly wash your worries away
And renew your inner strength
To continue along life's way.

May the soft glow of Mother Night's moon
Brighten the darkened path ahead
And guide you safely through your journey
Illuminating the road that you must tread.

May the stars above that shine
Purer than a diamond's glow
Guard your precious spirit nightly
As into blissful sleep you go.

May all of nature wrap you
In her tender, loving arms
For, my love, my one true wish is
That she forever keep you safe from harm.

Terry,

Touching and so sweet.  Whoever she is, she is one lucky lady, my friend.  Love it when you write from your heart.  Your best stuff comes out.  Great writing!!

Janet Marie~
Thank you, my dear.  I only speak words from my heart.

Irie~
     Thank you sweetly.  I try.

Rainbow~
I'm not sure if "lucky" is the right word, but loved..........
Thank you, kind maiden.

Lone Wolf~
I love it when I let my heart take over my pen, too.  I always seem to get swept away in the words later when I go back and read it.  I have to thank my muse for that one!

Marina~
Thank you so much, my dear.  I am glad you lked it!

Thanks to everyone who read and enjoyed this -- I know I loved writing it!
Now, I have never done this before, but how about we make a challenge out of this?  If you had only one wish to make, what would it be?????

Terry,
I truly love your work, and look forward to everything you do.  This one is definitely no exception.  You write straight from the heart - which should be the only way to write.

Thank you so much for the lovely comment, Lori!

You write from the heart, too, and I agree -- that makes all the difference!
