Whispered Words of Wisdom

As I listen
to all my all time
favorite song
that I downloaded
onto my computer
speaking let it be
I try and heed
it's message
about whispered words
of wisdom.
Am I one
of the broken hearted people
it speaks of?
I can't help
but wonder
as I become the blame
for circumstances
way beyond
my wildest control.
Is my answer
the whispered words
of wisdom to let it be?
Am I one
of the lonely people
in world
that should agree?
Shall my day
of clouds
be my night of brightness
if I just ignore
and listen to the words
of wisdom speak?
At this moment
I want to be parted
let whispered wisdom die
never let it be.
So I wait
to see the answer
if whispered words
of wisdom
can actually let it be.

That was an interesting way of thinking of wisdom!  I've often listened to the radio like that!  I enjoyed this one very much.

"Even a fool knows you can't touch the stars, but it doesn't stop a wise man from trying."
Harry Anderson, "Night Court"

I've felt some of these things, and others, when listening to this music from my past.  If John Lennon was the guru that I think he wanted to be, perhaps we could hope that whispered words of wisdom will let it be...  or that there will be an answer...let it be...Imagine...you may think that I'm a dreamer...Oops, I got carried away there, but I really enjoyed the poem...it got me thinking.

Funny how some songs can make such an impact or make
us think in such depth. Just as some poetry can.
Thanks for sharing LD

Another wonderful expression, Gloria. Just let it be. That's the best way to live. Easier said than done, sometimes, but that is the challenge, I guess. Thanks for the timely reminder!
