Tick-tick tock-tock
tick-tick tock-tock
the hands of my watch
the hands of my clock
beating the seconds throughout the day
beating the time of our lives away.
Will you bring sorrow
or will you bring joy
for my far away girl
and her far away boy?

Eric.

what a nice fun poem, glad to see something so light in a world that is increasingly dark and murky

Thanks both for the kind replies   Yup, life's far too short to watch it pass you by!
Ohh and it was lovely to be welcomed back so warmly after my absence. Thankyou.
Eric.

How sweet and rhytmic. I hope the faraway boy and faraway girl get to read this one.
Love
