The Honey Dripper
~*Marge Tindal*~

Watch out boys,
here comes the heart-stripper.
She goes by the name of
The Honey-Dripper.

She'll fill your ear
with sugar and spice.
Then turn to vinegar
when you take her advice.

No more Mister Nice Guy,
if you do her wrong.
She'll laugh in your face
and sing you her song.

Gone are the days
of sweet surrender.
Treat me right, boys.
You'd do well to remember.

I'm sweet as I can be
'til I get what I want.
Then I'll leave you crying
with a taunt.

I'm The Honey-Dripper.
Hear what I say !
Gonna take what I want,
then scoot away.

Lock up your hearts !
The Honey Dripper's back in town.
She'll tell you what you want to hear,
then she'll throw you down.

This ain't Cinderella,
with her dainty glass slipper.
You've just been had
by The Honey-Dripper.

Another heart,
another day.
The Honey Dripper
will make you pay.

A little fun.
A little pun.
The Honey Dripper
is all done.

*Love ya', Sugar !*

I know that honey-drippin' dame!
Drippin' honey is her game.
Drips on roses or small cow pies
They're all the same in that gal's eyes.

Makes a man feel oh! so sweet
And has him laying at her feet.
Shows him all the love he lacks
Then tells him to mind his own beeswax!

Honey dripper...Stay away
I ain't coming out to play.
You live to ruin young men's lives
And I'm too old to get the hives!!

ha ha ha  ha hhhaaaaaaa

Whodunnit??? Margedunnit ....

regards, sudhir

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.
Hey you, out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me?
Hey you, with your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home....

yanno - it seems to me the real Honey-Dripper is that smooth-talker Balladeer!  Always writin' those oh so sweet ballads... hmmph - wasted talent I say - he's a rascal - all you ladies better watch out - he's a devil, he is.

Marge - I love your poem - I sincerely hope you weren't talking about how you used to be... it would burst my bubble

Yeah ... that Balladeer does keep the hive a'buzzing ! But, he does it soooo well !
He is the 'honey-pot'of the hive.
He just needs to be reminded who
the 'queen bee' is !

Don't fear, love .. your 'bubble' is intact.
This one was dedicated to the 'sweetest' bee ever to frequent the hive.
Good to see you again.

You sweet little mischievious bee, you!  You don't have to drip honey -- you are sweet enough as it is!

And I'm trying to stay away from this type! Us other females don't like 'em, either. LOL, Marge, this reminds me of a poem I once wrote...The Temptress.
