State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-05-30 07:09 PM

Today I had a setback
I gave in to your call
I couldn't take it anymore
I up and took the fall

As soon as my guard was down
You saw the perfect chance
To erase two years of freedom
To persuaid me to dance

Just when I thought I had beaten you
You proved that I was wrong
I thought this was getting easier
after being strong for so long

Today I had a setback
Another lesson learned
Freedom from addiction isn't given
It simply has to be earned

To be continued....

Hi again guys, This piece of the puzzle was written a couple years after I stopped drinking. As you can see this road has not been an easy one, but I am bound and determined to win this war one day at a time. Thank you again for reading.

 All my love,
Jeffrey

Every day that you fight the good fight brings you closer to winning the worthwhile battle.  Heroes take one step at a time and eventually grasp most aspects of their destiny.
