I've cupped my hands
to catch us
but we fell through anyway.

I see us falling
spinning out of control
and though we love
its not enough
to hold the rain back
not enough to keep the
clouds out
not enough
not enough
and still I'd
give every ember of beauty in me
to you
if you'd stay.

It's so sad when a relationship ends, but you just have to pick up the pieces and go on. If a relationship is really doomed, there is nothing you can do about it. Good writing
