Sunshine = Rainbows

In my window there is magic
for all the world to see
tiny beautiful prisms of glass
make my rainbows for me.

God let me take my name
said "Sunshine, let's play a game
and if you hang my magic right
we may play games, day and night."

For in the tiny prisms of glass
then the rainbows comes to pass
and in the dark, thus in their gleam
I see the promise of tomorrow's dream.

For in my window's mind I see
prisms of rainbows for you and me.

A tiny spherical shiny droplet,
Falling from heaven's lap,
Sunshine through the rain-clouds, wet,
Splits light into a radiant rainbow ..

Karilea, this one is another beautiful piece of work from you...it seems that you are becoming totally religious...in the name of God, may you prosper...

regards, sudhir

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.
Hey you, out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me?
Hey you, with your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home....

Beautiful Sunshine.

So sweet and visual Sunshine ... I can see the little twinkling colours catching my eyes now, as they dance across my mind.  Well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

This poem was a very bright, cheery, pick-me up poem!  It even puts pictures into your head while you read it and it takes you away from your everyday stresses.  Thanks for posting it

It takes Sunshine to make rainbows
And a rainbow to make dreams
It takes dreams to make the sun shine
Through the window where it gleams
And a girl the name of Sunshine
With the voice of angel streams
Through the rainbow colored window
In the prism of my dreams

And how do I know she has the voice of an angel?
A little birdie told me

Lovely, Sunshine
