Destiny it is, how they met....they met but for an instant
One look was all it took....for their souls to be transparent
Ahhh....this one's goin' to last, they knew, maybe forever

Meet, they may, by divine will
Separate now, they might, under mysterious circumstances.....
to meet again in another lifetime
But fight they will, till the last breath
to seal their precious love, in companion and solace
If not in life, but in death

No heaven or earth put together
For their love, could ever account
Theirs was a symphony of love composed lifetimes earlier
And with time, it grew to be passionate and bottomless,
Only to find peace in their union

Resonating as the air they breath in
Spreading as the fragrance lingering around them
Pulsating as the blood in their arteries
Never to trade their love, even for a million stars in the sky.

Destiny it is, how they met....they met but for an instant
One look was all it took....for their souls to be transparent
Ahhh....this one's goin' to last, they knew, maybe forever !!

------ Excellent sentiments expressed in nice form....a addition...a few moments of inspiration...--------

Fate held a key to this door,
A slit, an opening, the key hole,
This door, opened up a new frontier,
An eye blinked looked through the eye-hole,
Waited patiently for another,
The other eye stared, a caressed fluttering soul.

Now the eyes had met, yet nothing was said,
Love's emotions flowed, streams joined in a river,
Silent expressions, sweet impressions, a raid,
a foray into hearts, joining them, a momentary shiver,
Two hearts held on tight, in love, souls becoming one,
That this love is eternal, would last forever, is a given.

........

Regards, sudhir.

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

"One look was all it took....for their souls to be transparent"

Wonderful sentiments Shilpi ... I particularly liked the line above, where one can recognize and see into the other's soul in an instant ... well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Hi,
I just bettered my 12 lines into 14 and posted it, hope that you liked them...

well, they were inspired by this one for sure... so to me the source is the start, and the inspired work is an addition, don't you agree??

regards, sudhir

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.
Hey you, out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me?
Hey you, with your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home....
