~Freedom Drawing Near~

I taste it
sweet like sunsets
sherbet orange
glowing cross the sky...
Limitless and blazing warmth
candy for the eye.

I hear it
softly pounding
beckoning
drumbeat of my heart...
Calling to my open ears
singing a new part.

I feel it
pulling at my
willing flesh
tingling cross my skin...
Breathing deeply into me
senses reel and spin.

I see it
just beyond
that mountain ridge
just a few more miles...
A new beginning just ahead
laughter, peace & smiles.

I smell it
attitude
like fresh baked bread
happiness there'll be...
Loose me from the grips of hell
I'm seizing Liberty!

**  I know few of you understand this, but with the help of two wonderful people in my life, I have learned to overcome the obstacles inside myself, and finally breathe deeply of true happiness and life.  Little did I know, I had built a security wall around myself to feel safe, and in doing so, I had died.  I had shut out all light, and hope, by withdrawing.  Thanks to them, I have broken out of my cocoon, and am now basking in life's sun.  Feels good to be warm again, and alive!

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

pFF,
I would only quote this one from Lao Tze Tao:
"What the caterpillar calls the end ...
The world calls a butterfly"

That you have come out of your cocoon is a glorious deed indeed. Now, fly with butterfly wings, colourful into the sunshine. May the broad daylight help guiding you towards a brilliance unmatched. To the heavenly skies, you may soar...

seize liberty  ....

Regards, sudhir

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.
