Mysteries

.....yes, thats what you are to me
All along I've known you so well
Yet, with each passing heartbeat
I feel there is more left to know

Why is it that my heart skips a beat
Each time I think of you ?
What about that ocean warmth of contentment
That lushes around me when you hold me ?

The hundred different paths my emotions follow
At the sound of your name on my lips
And over a hundred more of your mischeivious gleams
The numerous ways you make me feel immensely beautiful

It will always remain a mystery
How,even in your deepest silence,
I hear the many ways
You tell that you love me

But the greatest mystery of all
is that......
You & I are not two realities
But one truth

.....As vast as the desert sand dunes
And as mysterious as the desert mirages
I would rather spend my entire lifetime
Unravelling your mysteries.....
Than be with someone predictable.
