Oh, this is a beautiful poem, and I'm so very sorry for your terrible loss! I too, am a bereaved mother.
You have formed this poem in such a way that many people could interpret it to situations in their own lives, and that takes talent. That's very hard for me to do. Excellent work. I'm going to go look for other poems by you. The first one I saw was one of an old woman, rocking, remembering her lost baby of years past. I loved that one.
This is a lovely poem too, in spite of the deep sorrow. Or, perhaps, because of the deep sorrow. Again, I am so sorry.
