Along His Way

He strides alone,
across the meadow's moistened tides
Intemperate step
recalls a haste to lover's side

His mind ensnared,
with thoughts of warmth and gifted grace
He suddenly bends,
and brings me gently near his face

With sighs of love,
his hands cupped easily round my stem
He breathes me deep
alive for her smooth and fragrant skin

And hastens on,
though miles await, refusing rest,
To find his love
my velvet bloom against his chest

Dear LadyClaire

*sigh*

Claire,
I'm running out of words to describe how achingly beautiful your work is getting these days. . . so, I feel that the *sigh* will just have to do for right now. . .

Just beautiful my friend. . .
