In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-05-26 11:33 PM

Emerald eyes lay closed to light
As a final sigh falls soundless
In yesterday lay earthen dreams
Untouched by silvered bliss.

Water shimmers beneath my feet
As in eternity I wade
My angels bathed in misty white
I see in distant shade.

Upon a stream of billowing blue
I soar among the stars
Lavender clouds enrapture me
As they whisper from afar.

My lover lays upon the grass
That sways beneath my feet
With golden grace I fall to him
And once more our souls do meet.

A breathy wish comes from my lips
And around us roses climb
Here within his tender embrace
My forever is sublime.

((sigh)) what a beautiful and romantic poem you have written here and I really loved the line:  Lavender clouds enrapture me
       As they whisper from afar
This is beautiful

or some K, rose colored glasses..
cause K's eyes see only beauty.
the view thru K's, eyes is DIVINE...

You paint a vivid scene interwoven with feeling, Krista!  I wish I had some contact to your muse and a vacation villa in one of the wonderlands you've devised.  Another excellent poem, my dear friend!
