Run Away

I know I did some things,
That I should not have done.
The worst thing of all,
Was to turn away and run.

Run away from your love,
To the arms of your best friend.
Run away from your love,
And let your love for me end.

If there was any way,
For us to make a new start.
I wouldn't be so foolish,
I'd give you all my heart.

I wish I could go back,
To when our love began;
I wouldn't run away,
And let our love end.

Nice writing...a perfect example of how our eyes sometimes take us where our heart shouldn't or doesn't really want to go.  James

CowBoy,

Great first post.  This must have been a tough time for you.  Seems like we never realize what we had until it is too late.  I hope that things work out for you.  Welcome to Passions!!

Ouch is right. If we didn't make mistakes, we would
never learn. As tough as it is, that's how life's played.
You have expressed your self well.
Welocme to Passions CowBoy!
I look forward to more of your work.
