On the brink...
Yeah?
Really? On the brink of what?
Self discovery?
(A snicker)
Madness
(A giggle)
Yeah...
Definetely madness you said..
(Laughed so hard I cried)
Then the headache came and took me over
(A groan and shaking head)
You asked what was wrong
I threw up my hands
And asked what was right.
(Sigh)
I don't understand you.
Thats what you said.
(Rolled my eyes then)
You said you weren't a mind reader.
(I frowned)
After two years
Shouldn't your guitar strings
Be somewhat in tune with my mind now?
(I walked away)
(You finally began to finger the right cords)
I thought it was too late then
(sigh)
I guess women never really can be satisfied.
(You glared at me)
Then said...
When I read your mind
I'm assuming too much and overstepping boudaries
When I don't read it,
I'm an insenstive dope with no clue.
Finally I know what a man is.
(I grinned)
(You rolled your eyes)
Marriage.
What an odd arrangement.
(We forgave each other our stupidity)

LOL!   Thank you, Irie.   I am so glad you enjoyed it.   I've had this tone to my writing for about a month now. I don't know why it comes out this way, but I'm glad somone is liking it.
