Between a laugh and a tear...

Another fight! Are you right or wrong?
Or is just that I seem so strong
Just don't know what to do
Why these tests between me and you

Him, him, you, and her
All you do just seems to stir
But am I wrong, just too blind to see
The blame it really rests with me

It hurts me so we are this way
Please turn around won't you stay
Can't say for sure how we'll fare
All I really know is that I care

For my daughter........

~It's so great that you're expressing this.  Ok,...first, thank you, really...with the hand I was dealt I can say that she is lucky to have you and your caring.  Please let her read this.....leave it somewhere "by accident" where you know she'll see it.  If you care,...let her know...it's all you have.  Hold on to her *Sorry for the personal response but I had to say what was on my mind. *Peace.  You're a kind heart.

I remember having these kinds of words with my parents!
And now that I'm older and wiser, I see how it hurts.
I hope things smooth out for you soon.

Eddie - your writing continues to amaze me my friend - this is lovely - I do hope you let Crystal read it - she would be very proud of her Dad!

Oh and yes, I know I should be working, instead of commenting, but you know, it is Friday after all!

SpitFire.....Don't ever be sorry for speaking your mind. I thankyou for your comments, they are appreciated.

Marge.....Thankyou for your words, and the hugs  . I think the most important thing you can do, each and every day, is to tell your children that you love them. I try to do just that regardless of our battles.

Irie....I remember those times too and I'm sure that helps me now.    Thankyou for your kind words.

Roniece.....I'm still a little amazed that I actually post it, let alone that poeple read it.

.mmmmm...so Friday s are good days for lunch?....LOL. Take care my friend!.

I thank you all for your comments and support. It is very much appreciated!

I think we've all been there as either the daughter/son ... mom/dad EagleOne.  A few years back (in my older and wiser years), I made a point to apologize to my mom for all the stupid things I said and did as a teen ... and asked her how on earth she ever put up with me!  She just said ... "because I loved you". Hang in there!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Thanks Kit,even though things, at times, seem to be too much, it is because we love each other that we can survive the "stupid things".
