Lead fills my heart
     dragging it down
                      to drown
and  I will
   for I began to drown
in your love....and now
             I see rock bottom
    coming closer

       I struggle for air
for strength to survive
          for with or without
      you,I may or may not
          but
            may's and might's
    just don't cut it

I am the decider
     of my happiness
  my sadness, my lonliness
          I will decide
   if I shall live
          or die
              so
        when I stop feeling
    I'll know I'm
        dead

I am sure that is a horrid place to feel yourself.

No one knows the future though.

Hugs hon - this is a good one.

Never stop feeling Dark Angel, for you portray your emotions so well. You showed such power in the ending ... well done!

Best wishes,

How I like this...you've written my creed here...and I didn't find this so dark...
(you might wanna start worrying NOW--grin)
but well done, Dark Angel...

May's and might's don't cut it. You're right! but, at the sametime the futur is unknown.  No matter what, never get to the point where you stop feeling. Great poem!

Dark Angel--This is so strong and self determined, yet fragile and openly full of feeling...wonderfully done!

Dark Angel,

What a strong poem.  You are right...only you can make you happy or sad...no one else can decide that for you.  Great words of wisdom.
