I’ve been sitting here, just thinking… How I wish that you were here. And the pleasure you once brought me- Just knowing you were near. And the love light I saw shining, When I looked into your eyes. Then I start, and look around me, And I sadly realize… That all happened long ago… I can’t believe you’re gone. I see you everywhere I look, in our once happy home. I wake up calling for you, I just wanted you to know- I guess I can’t accept the fact, you left me long ago. I should have known it from the start- Our romance could not last. Water under bridges… And those secrets in our past… Relationships you build on lies- Can only bring you pain… I sit here all alone tonight- And hear this sad refrain… That all happened long ago, I can’t believe you’re gone. I see you everywhere I look, in our once happy home. I wake up calling for you, I just wanted you to know- I simply cannot grasp the fact… you left me long ago. |

i think its more than just a "sad" poem..you urself haverealized it was in the past and i think this poem is helpin u find that out....and im sure weve all been there...great poem i look forward to reading more of them  crystal |
