    DESTINY TRAIN

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
I feel the train rolling down the track
Screeching wheels and people standing back

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
TOOT! TOOT!
The whistle blows a steam engine's laughter!
All aboard! For happily ever after

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
I miss my love and I want her back
Longing for her love on this endless track

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
A golden ring echoes her name
This mighty engine, my destiny train

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
A million miles of plains and tunneled mountains
My heart pumps fresh as spring feed fountains

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
A thousand towns passed along the way
My love grows stronger each and everyday

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
TOOT! TOOT!
The whistle blows as the mighty train slows
My love is waiting, the purest winter rose

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!
She said I do and I said the same
Happily ever after on the destiny train

This is an excellent poem!!

I love the idea that destiny is a train going down the tracks of our lives. . . it's a great metaphor!!

Great poem!!

I wish I could travel on that train, I get the train home every weekend and it is no way near as exciting or romantic as your poem.

From now I on I am going to take the destiny train, even better than the love boat. lol

Haleyja…Those old steam engines seemed so powerful.
                 Love is powerful.

Brian madden…Trains can give you a lot of time to think
about things or someone special in
between the fast pace of our everyday
                           lives.

CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA! CHUGA!
CHOO! CHOO!

Haleyja…Excuse me sir…may I see your ticket please!
I'm sorry this ticket has already been validated!
You have to leave the train immediately….try
for one of those haystacks. And I'm sorry but
your Mama's ticket is expired too…. Hey stop
lady! Don't run away!…Catch her someone!!
You !!…. Baggage handler!!! Grab her!!!
                Throw Mama from the train!!!

Thanks for taking a ride on the Destiny Train
(Don't worry we didn't throw Mama from the train,
Mama was in love. So we gave her a tall hat and let
   Mama drive the Destiny train.)
