Time
ticking away
ever so slowly.

I feel
stuck
in a constant
time warp.

Watching others
hurry by,
while I wait
patiently.

Time
going so soon
makes me wonder
what tommorrow may bring.

Hoping anxiously,
wandering aimlessly,
just waiting
for time.......

Time is funny, isn't it? Sometimes it drags, sometimes it zips right on by! Good poem!

Ya know, we invented time and gave it it's parameters, and interestingly enough, it now controls us. We wait for it when ther's too much of it and we hold on to it when it speeds by so fast.

i like the concept here. Everyone is hurrying to catch their time, while you simply wait for yours. i dig it.

We all got somethin' we need to atone for.

thanks you are so right.  time rules so many people and yet we don't stop to take any for ourselves.

epoet this is a refreshing poem. Light
easy, and I can see you patiently waiting
for time to pass as those others walk by
you.  Time is a very interesting subject.

Time is indeed an interesting subject, if you watch it too long you may have too little of it left.

God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown

EPoet~
Time marches on until the magic of the moment commands HALT ... then time stands still ... for as long as the need be.

Enjoyed your poetic thoughts.

thank you one and all for your comments.  I appreciate it, I really like being here.  What amazes me is that time is never time enough.
