I continue to try, but there is no answer
It's a one sided conversation
The phone continues to ring...
I continue to yell about you not caring
If you don't think it's worth it,
Then why should I?
Because, unlike you, I do still care
And want us to keep going
But it's like a double edged sword...
One side you don't give me space
The other you pretend not to care
Or at least shut me out
Either way it rips me apart inside
And yet I let the phone ring
I continue to try...
As I cling to the fleeting false hope
That someday you'll come to your senses
Still no answer...
