Go Fly A Kite ~*Marge Tindal*~ Let me rise above the earth suspended only by the string held so ever gently in your hands. Let me dance with the wind. Playing with the currents that take me further away from you. I am free for the moment from the cares of the world. Held safely by the strings of your love. Do not let me be so lofty that I get out of your sight. Bring me back, no longer do I wish to be free. As you slowly reel me in do not let the string break. I wouldn't want to end up hopelessly entangled in some strange yard tree Just ever so often let me fly free * * * * * ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
