It's Beautiful Outside

Outdoors framed by squeaky clean window
like a painted picture, green thick grass
red roses, pink carnations beckoning
temptation to leave this computer

Plush Maple tree shading country road
the fence showing where the grass was mowed
buttercups, humming birds, busy bees
seductive in their sheer purity

Working on the net, window peeking
standing to open the window to get a whiff
freshness, fills the indoor stagnant air
back to the computer, isn't fair

Daylight will soon be gone
oh, to feel the earth on bare toes
time to get out where the garden grows
'tis too inviting, it's a siren song

Cannot ignore the beautiful skies
stretching legs and digging in the dirt
'tis time to touch the gentle wind
Good-bye computer, you lose again

~Awesome!!!  This is superb,....it IS too tempting 'eh? It's just what's right out there,...and glad to see it's what you chose.  Mmmm,...your descriptions were tasty,...makes me want to come to where you are .

Sounds like you're sitting here at my house looking out the
window!
It's just wonderful isn't it! I too have had to leave the computer
behind to play out side the last
couple of weeks!
This is great netswan!

Wise choice to leave the computer and enjoy the weather, we have had a mixture of rain and sun today so one minute you are soaking up sun the next you are running for shelther. I love Irish summers.
A great poem, think you might be able to e-mail me so nice American sun, just to borrow for a week or two.   < !signature-->

Douglas Adams.

Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky

"You have your very own number
They dress your cage in its nature
Once you roared now you just grunt lame
Pace around pathetic pound games

Wanna get out won't miss you sensaround
To carry your own dead to swing your tyre tricks
Wanna get out here you're bred dead quick
For the outside,
The small black flowers that grow in the sky

They drag sticks along your walls
Harvest your ovaries dead mothers crawl
Here comes warden, Christ, temple, elder
Environment not yours you see through it all

Wanna get out won't miss you sensaround
To carry your own dead to swing your tyre tricks
Wanna get out here you're bred dead quick
For the outside,
The small black flowers that grow in the sky

Here chewing your tail is joy"

Richey Edwards
