In the space between moments

Curling ribbons of moonlight
Fall upon milky skin
Tracing the subtle curves
Of an illuminated reverie...

Lips of honeyed dewdrops
Caress his lightly flushed visage
Moving with butterfly grace
And sending shivers through the breeze...

Emerald eyes lay softly entranced
By tresses of streaming ebony
As whispers of his silver touch
Surge through her waiting soul...

Two savage dreamers meet
Within an alabaster tangle
Hearts pulsing with the twinkling sky
And believing in forever...

Such imagery, such words, such flow, such talent!  Once again, Krista, you amaze me with your talent! You had me in awe from beginning to end!

"Two savage dreamers meet
within an alabaster tangle
hearts pulsing with the twinkling sky
and believing in forever"

what a beautiful end!

The title "Illuminated Reverie" is perfect!  It was the title that drew me in.  You always think of unique and imaginative titles.  P.S. I still love your prose piece "I Am Like The Unicorn!" Hey girl, I'll always remind you of that, and I still have my copy that I printed out!

Take care,

Great poem, Krista!  You have a big heart with lots of love to give and your poetry sure shows it!  If this is based on the same dream as last time this must be one hell of a dream.. methinks it must have roots in reality, somewhere.. (You not telling me something  )

Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme,
They are not measured by the commitment of time.
Some emotions run too deep to be described by words,
Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard.

Krissisisisiisisaaa!

YAYYYYYY!  That was another, yes ANOTHER wonderful poem.     I like how you always seem to put space in... it is just cool.     Your talent exceeds anything I've ever seen.  I am happy I am able to read as many poems as I have been.     Thanks for posting another great poem, my friend.

Oh wow!!

I LOVE this one Krista!!  The title is what did it for me too. . .

But it was this verse,

"Two savage dreamers meet
Within an alabaster tangle
Hearts pulsing with the twinkling sky
And believing in forever..."

That just really made me stop. . . what a great verse. . .

Excellent poem. . . just wonderful. . .
