Jasmine Blowing
~*Marge Tindal*~

Jasmine blowing
through my mind
Fragrant from
the honeyed vine
~*~
Wafting on breeze
caressing nocturnal light
Jasmine blowing
essence of night
~*~
Clinging softly
dew of the evening
Through my senses
Jasmine weaving
~*~
Jasmine blowing
through my mind
Another place
Another time
~*~
Breathe me back
to scenes so sweet
Jasmine nights
of loves' repeat
~*~
Jasmine blowing
too soon gone
Morning laces
fragrant dawn

The light airy quality of an evening breeze.
Somehow sitting on a latticed porch in a swing (not alone),under the moonlight, comes to mind as I read these wonderful words.

Marge, this is delightful, lovely as the jasmine that blooms close to our pool in its season. Nothing quite like that smell or this poem!! Wonderful!! Love you, Marge!

Love and hugs,

Evening breeze,
Fragrant Jasmine,
Scented airs,
Promises nights so fine

Jasmine blowing,
Night's starry lights,
Love blooming,
Embracing love so tight...

...........

Great poem Marge, loved each word...

Regards,
Sudhir

Marge that was a breath of fresh poetry,
I was wondering why forum 7 smelled so beautiful, I just followed the scent to your wonderful words. Here I brought some flowers, not that this place needs brighting up.

Thank you my friend of fragrance wafting.

The 'latticed porch' of your reply brings lots of memories - just as the Jasmine does.
Thank you.

I think I can smell it here!!!  Just elegant, my friend.  It is amazing how we can smell a fragrance and be reminded of something from the past, isn't it?  Great writing, as usual!!

Wonderful romantic flowing poetry here,
