This poem was written as a response to one of Tracie's poems: The earth laughs in flowers.

I hope you like this one, although the title might be unappropriate or inadequate...

Flower Power

Bumble bees land on flowers,
collecting nectar to make honey,
Delicacies of the world, sweet lovers,
address each other, simply 'honey'.

Flower beds on wide fields, shine,
as does the earth, who holds the beds,
embraced in her sweet bosom, close to heart, feels divine
seeing little children clinging, glowing reds.

-- Sudhir.

That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

Sudhir,
This has a very delicate, fragile kind of feel to it. Enjoyed the innocence in which you present the flowers as little children of the earth.

Hi Sudhir, that was sweet like natural honey not the shop stuff. That made me feel all happy.

Flower beds on wide fields, shine,
as does the earth, who holds the beds,
embraced in her sweet bosom, close to heart, feels divine
seeing little children clinging, glowing reds

really loved the image of the second verse

This is just BEAUTIFUL....

Flower beds on wide fields, shine,
as does the earth, who holds the beds,
embraced in her sweet bosom, close to heart, feels divine
seeing little children clinging, glowing reds.

It has such an unusual rhythm that lends it eloquence - great stuff!
