Wounded

Through Armour
Does my heart still breathe?
Bearing my wounds
Won’t let me be

Protecting me from
This pain I see
Constructed walls
Help hide my need

To feel no hurt
No tear,
No rain

This life
We had
Was it in vain?

Colored dreams
Painted to show
Not what's inside
This burning slow

Sorrow lives
To learn must I
Endure this pain
Not live this lie

Tomorrow give
Me light to see
A way to shed
A smile on me.

For with each line
I write to thee
I shed a tear
For love won't be
Anymore

Written in tears...and replied to in kind...

Still pain beneath the armour tho...keep that in mind...Hear to listen any time...

Sounds odd to call pain beautiful, but this is....

Hi SPiked, I guess I believe the old way of think, pain reminds us that we are alive, it is there to be defeated not to defeat you.
that was a powerful poem, I hope that your pain heals.

Spiked~
Rich - herein lies your hope

'Tomorrow give
Me light to see
A way to shed
A smile on me.'

The light will shine
the secret is to know it will come.
I enjoyed the expression of your thoughts.
