Accompanying my every thought tonight
Are the endless memories of you
Listening to soft soothing music
And just figuring out what to do.

the winds of change have blown upon us
Such good friends we came to be
Together we endured the challenges
And merged from the trenches victoriously.

But along our grueling journey
I started to see your rose bloom
You fought hard with dignity
And your battle will be over soon.

It'll then be time to rest our minds
And maybe I'll mend my despairing heart
I know I can't see the near future
But I'll miss you "My Sweets" while we're apart.

So now I look at the moon in the sky
Kneel down and say a prayer for you
Make a wish upon the shining stars
And hope it will soon come true.

I'll climb on any mountain with you
Just call my name and I'll be there
Because I love you always
Anytime, Anywhere.

VPhantom~
Such caring for another is sprinkled among your phrases.
Nicely expressed.
