In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-05-17 11:15 PM

Hushed pallor decends the sky
Dusting tenderly
Upon the scarlet sage
Which enwreathes saturated earth
Where tearstains bathed in crystal light
Fall in intricate patterns.

Weaving apparitions of love
Braid among threads of moonlight
Humming a bittersweet swan's song
Memories lay enshrined in gold
Among the clouds of heaven.

Whispers glint in tragic eyes
And leap from soul to soul
But only the belief in tomorrow-
In hope, in life, in love forevermore
Will guide us past the pain.

Lift thine eyes and gently fly
Past the pale shroud of blue
And into the quietly waiting dreams
Of blossoming eternity.

This is dedicated to Jeffrey Moen.  I wish you the best of happiness in everything, my friend.  Thank you for all you've given me while we were together.

Beautiful poem, Krista... especially considering the dedication and what's happened.  "But only the belief in tomorrow-
In hope, in life, in love forevermore
Will guide us past the pain."  That's a philosophy to live by in my opinion.. The best to you, my friend.. for you surely deserve it

Breathtaking work...sorrow, hope, imagery...it's all here and it's

Krista~

That was a beautiful poem.  Your dedication shows how great of a person you are.  You deserve the best.  That was a very inspirational poem.
