A young girl cries out tonight
A baby herself, but life within...
She's wanting to do what is right
But, fate is giving her nothing to win...

Her life has been filled with pain inflicting
She doesn't know how to cope...
Life pulls one way, her desires conflicting
She feels she's at the end of her rope..

Always searching for acceptance and love
She tries to please others as well as herself...
Now her only hope is looking to the God above
And praying he wll guide this tiny elf...

As you might have guessed by now...
She's a girl in "trouble" and so confused...
Her options are narrow and she doesn't know how
She's going to raise this child she can not refuse...

It's not easy to be in that situation. I think the most important thing is to have a supportive family to help one through this. Without that, it is much harder.

Lorelei, enjoyed reading this poem.  Sad though, that circumstances can cause such anguish.
~~very good expression in this poem~~
            nice writing!

A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives.
