~growth~

the water runs still as the moon shines on the water, the night feels perfect for thinking, reflecting on my life..my joys, my sadness, my highs, my lows, & all of the strife
my head clears in times like these, when all things seem in their place & the world feels at ease
i wouldn't change a thing in my past, for all i am i owe to what i was then....scars, broken hearts, tears & all....i don't regret it now
i needed all those things to grow....so i could stand on my own & not fall

~What a peaceful way of looking at it.  It is so true that all we go through, see, and deal with along the way makes us who we are.  I think it's true when they say the difficult times we get through make us stronger. Atleast I hope they do...sure have been through a few myself and sure do hope I'm getting stronger.  *Great post,..can't you tell I liked?...I can't shut up
