'LETTER TO LOVE'

my love runs steady, even if you don't always see it flow
my love is a constant that continues to grow
having my love returned at times seems impossible for you
the other times it seems that's all you want to do
i run from the silence that, at times, numbs our world
the same silence that is at times all that can be heard
i haven't lost my passion, faith, & love for you
even if i'm not showing it as i did when it was so new
for my love, there is no other so close to my heart
a place you have held right from the start
