~Raindrop~

A black raindrop fell from the night sky
echoing sounds of anger by and by
an inch in front of where I stand
drowning all that I had ever planned.

A red one fell each day that followed
screams of fear I had swallowed
swimming in a pool of thick liquid,...thick thought
trying my best not to give up and get caught.

It’s thickness pulls at my feet
dragging me down to where the liquid meets
my lips,....then my eyes
oh forgive me angry skies.

I have no boat,...no umbrella,...no air
haven’t you the sympathy to see me,...to care?
to give me a chance to deal with everything
to release my soul and let my heart sing?

I know what you mean it was raining all day today I felt quite low   but it is never overcast forever, there will always be a sunny day.

"I have no boat,...no umbrella,...no air
haven’t you the sympathy to see me,...to care?" sometimes life catches you unawares and unprepared but as hard as it is you have the make the best of every situation. Next time it rains run as you did when you are child and think of all your fond memories.

A great poem, I hope you found a silver lining or rainbow on your rainy day.

SpitFire~
I liked the emotional colors of your raining.
Here's to rainbow's tomorrow.
