Guardians of the Night The soft velvet blackness Of the clear nighttime sky Is broken only by the twinkling Of the stars above so high. They shine brightly overhead And pulse with purest light A heartbeat of the heavens Ever patiently guarding the night. We are watched from the heavens As the last day's trials grow old We can rest safely until tomorrow When a new day will unfold. ~you reached inside, you touched my heart, and I am all the better for it~ Terry A. We can rest safely until tomorrow When a new day will unfold. those are the perfect words to end a day on, it is midnight here and with the lullaby I am bound to sleep soundly and have sweet dreams goodnight and thank you, that was beautiful. |

TerryW~ You've touched a chord of my heart and played a lullabye of delight. I love it when you put the stars on display and keep them twinkling until the sun kisses them good morning. I like this a whole bunch-a-lot ! Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Terry, This was so simple and short, yet it said it all. Whenever I have a bad day I always try to feel that tomarrow is a new day. Marina |
