Hi friends, this is my first one out of maybe many for the same topic, I hope that you don't get mad at me for posting more.

All the same this is a great topic to write about. It surely gives any one a huge motivation to look at the brighter side of life and look perspectively at the horizon with hope instead of despair....

Prologue:

    A drizzle,
    Droplets of rain,
    My mind in a puzzle,
    Obscured by dark clouds of pain.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A ray,
      a single ray from the dazzling
        sun,
    Offered light
      to the falling
        droplets,
    A delightful
      rainbow, seven-coloured
        one,
    Sky clouded,
      a colourful dusk dawned,
        triplets.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow,
A triad in one's life, offering
A triplet of pain, hurt and sorrow,
A trio of peace, comfort and loving.
    The sky now,
      out there, I saw
        shine,
    Brightly,
      with carefree
        abandon,
    Shackles of
      distrust, nerves,
        pain,
    With the coloured sky
      have now been
        broken.
Widening scope,
Clearing the eyes of my soul,
Don't need anymore a rope,
To get me out of this hole.
    Nature,
      it seemed, had a
        way,
    Of telling,
      showing the path of
        life,
    All it needed
      is a single
        ray,
    To clear this
      muddled head, obscured by
        strife.
In this age, where violence is rife,
Distances shortened, yet man stays afar,
A brief moment, the rainbow does inspire,
In me, trying to win this war.
    I feel,
      I am
        winning,
    My confused head
      has stopped
        spinning,
    I am back
      to my own
        reasoning,
    I see the clear
      wide horizon
        broadening
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Epilogue:

    The sun shines on the righteous one,
    Widening a new horizon,
    Fortune smiles on the brave one,
    Throwing shining rays from the sun...

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

Jeffery, netswan, Lone Wolf, Janet,

I am sorry for not thanking each of you separately , I am having a lot of PC troubles lately...

But all the same, I would like to thank you for your continuous support in my effort to make my poetic skills work by reading them and posting your views.

I really feel that this topic has a lot of exploring to be done, and hence I might just come up with another one or maybe more...

I hope you like them too, as you liked this one..

Regards,
Sudhir.
