State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2000-05-14 02:45 PM

If I could reach out
and touch your heart
I'd do it

If I could offer you
a kind word of love
I'd do it

If I could only help
you see it's ok
I'd do it

And if I could take
the pain from your soul
I'd do it

And if I could give you
but a glimmer of hope
I'd do it

To show you that you
are never alone
I'd do it

So take these words
for what they are worth
and I'll do it

Can't really explain where this one came from....possibly from a long night of soul searching

I lie awake in a world filled with dreams,
but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep

That was just wonderful! I liked it a whole lot.

Jeffrey,
Straight from the loving heart of a true friend.  You know you've got them here.
I loved this - really did.

Of course I was thinking so totally different right from the start of the title!!!  You know me!  Anyway, this is a very lovely soft poem, it had such gentle quality about it.  Excellent Jeff.

Jeffery...how could anyone refuse what you offer in this piece or ask for anymore? Lovely heartfelt words.
