Does Anybody Need a Friend?

Someone to talk to
on long lonely nights
spent watching television
or listening to the radio
all alone, with the lights off
mind racing
filled with thoughts
memories and dreams
of a time
when we could have that feeling
of togetherness
of closeness
and friendship.

Being alone with one's thoughts ... can sometimes be good, or very lonely. Nicely captured Chris.

Best wishes,
/Kit

Lovely poem. Loneliness is so different to being alone. You illustrate this well.

Love and hugs,
Lizzie

Well put, Chris.  I like this one.  You can never have too many friends, you know!!  If you need one...I'm only an e-mail away!!
Take care,

You know - you've got us here.  A family of friends.  On any day, at any time.

Beautiful, yet sad expression.
