Hearts in distant voices falling
Ever loud'ly resoudant calling
To beat the brow, to burn an ear
Screams so loud its all I hear

Why am I the one bereft
The one to move, the heart that's left
"I, I am the only one"
Emotes e're mine of which I'm done

I cry a lonely single tear
And sob a sound for I to hear
Touch me not my outstretched hand
Hold me not so I may stand

I've trod this far ~ my lonely path
Through storms of dreary bitter wrath
I've seen the sun and felt the rain
'Been doubled over down in pain

I'd take this lot and toss it yon
Regardless of the miles I've gone
If only for one step to stand
To hold your hand within my hand

May I never be too busy to help another's load,
Then I'll be drinking from the saucer 'cause my cup has overflowed.

While at times it may seem that we walk alone without any one for support there are people who care. If you look I am sure you will find a travelling companion.
Great poem, The rhyming  was fantasic.

On timid feet do angels walk.

Yours tread lightly, but leave a lasting impression nonetheless m'friend.
