Weeping Willow
Shadowing my window
bring your tears to me
sadly sweeping
across my pane
open your eyes and see
blue skies
but clouded lies
what more could it be?
but dreamers dreaming
and sleepers sleeping
Weeping Willow
Sing to me

As you may know, I have a deep love for willows... This is a wonderful little poem that is quite beautiful in many ways.  I just wanted to say how much I like it.  You did well with this one.  I like the simple style it has...

What a pretty picture you paint. =)  I can see myself sitting in a window with the shadows from this tree sweeping back and forth in the wind.... very relaxing. =)  Thank you.

DeepMelancholy~
The weeping willow dances so gracefully
when she's happy ...
and sways so sadly when she's in pain.

You did a beautiful job of bringing the wistful weeping of the willow to thought.
Enjoyed the images very much.

grandma had this great big weeping willow
which I played under as a child.
Oh, I do love the weeping willow tree.

A sad willow tree in your poem -- best
go play underneath it ---) It is probably
crying cuz, you haven't opened the window
and it wants to put sap on your window
sill ----)

lovely poem - with great imagery

Trees can also comfort, I am sure that the willow is not always weeping most of the time it is whispering words of comfort. If you lie under the willow and listen it will sing a lullaby for you.
Great poem.
