An old man extended his hand
To give his dog some food,
The dog took a finger
When the old man did linger,
And the old man thought it rude.

The same old man extended his hand
To give the same dog some more
Another finger he took
When the old man didn't look
Leaving the old man bleeding on the floor.

The same old man extended his hand
To feed the same dog agian
The dog took the hand
From the old man
And left him with a grin.

The man could not feed his dogs aching need
And the dog could not feed himself
So the dog passed away
While the dogfood did stay
Quietly on the shelf.

The moral of the story, although grusome and gory
Is for you to judge where you stand.
Which one was dumber
In this continuous blunder
The dog or the old crippled man?

Knowlege tempered by wisdom...Wisdom tamed by youth.

Oh dear brother!  This is so FULL of wisdom!  Tell me about it!  I'd dare say this hits quite close to home.     hehe  You certainly made me chuckle, but I do see the underlying truth in this.  Thank you so much for sharing!  That old man should have kept his hands to himself, and the old dog should have minded his manners!  LOL  Um...you DO still like me, right?
