My daughter is 12 and any comments you would like to make to her would be so appreciated!!

The Spring Fairies

They dart around
These little fairies
Bringing plants into the world
Fighting over who gets to make the
next bud bloom

They fly so fast and high you can
barely make out their figures
They fly around the world,
going higher and higher,

Until they soar back down,
To finish their work,
And when their tired,
they're really tuckered out,

They fall asleep in their
little dandelions
Until next spring,
When their needed again

Sounds like "Little Redwriter" will be a great song writer one day soon.

All my love,
Jeffrey

but dreams can be so real when you don't know you're asleep

Sweet Poem Kathryn -- Your mom should
be proud!

Thanks for sharing -- and reminding about
the fairies and how they work so hard
in the spring and summer -----well --
will knit some itty bitty blankets for
their winter snooze ---)  to match
the color of dandelions as they snuggle
in

This is great, Kay-Lynn! Your daughter is talented....guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Tell her to keep writing...that;s the best way to keep getting better....and I'd like to see more of her refreshing poetry.

Thanks for the URL. Magnificent!!!

What a talented family!  Your daughter is quite creative and inspirational.  And she can only improve!  Wow, I can't imagine how wonderful her poems will be then.
Both of them I've read here are definitely enjoyable.
