I GUESS THIS IS JUST WISHFUL THINKING THAT YOU AND I WILL WITHSTAND THIS WEAK WORLD AND COME OUT LOVING EVEN MORE TO BE COMPLETLY FAITHFUL AND TRUE DISPITE ALL THAT THIS LIFE HAS PLANED TO FORGET ALL OF THE PAIN OUR HEARTS FELT BEFORE MAYBE IT'S JUST WANTING SOMETHING SO MUCH AND NEEDING MUCH MORE THAN I KNOW I DO OR AT LEAST WILL ADMIT TO MYSELF MAYBE I COULD CONVINCE MY HEART NOT TO BELIEVE FORGET WHAT I FEEL SO THAT WHEN IT'S OVER I ALREADY SEE THE FACT THAT YOU WILL DECIEVE PERHAPS I FEEL TO MUCH OR MAYBE I EXPECT TO MUCH FROM SUCH A SIMPLE MAN DEMAND MORE THAN ANY MAN COULD EVER REALLY GIVE IT'S POSSIBLE THAT I DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AND TURN MY BACK ON WHAT I CAN TRULY SEE AS SOMETHING THAT IS MEANT TO BE COULD IT BE THAT I LOOK FOR THE BAD AS NOT TO HURT WHEN WHAT I WANT IS NOT WHAT I GET AND ALL MY EXPECTATIONS FALL SHORT MAYBE I JUST NEED YOU TO TELL ME THAT THIS IS REAL AND THAT IN ALL THESE EMOTIONS I WILL FIND SOME KIND OF COMFORT TO PROVIDE ANSWERS TO MY RESTLESS HEART PERHAPS IT'S WISHFUL THINKING TO BELIEVE IN LOVE AFTER ALL THAT I'VE SEEN I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A FOOL EVER HOPELESS I DO ADMIT I HAVE SIMPLY FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU |

A little hard on the eyes to read in all caps, but you know, your words here sting real close to my own. I can relate to several of the lines. Admitting, and convincing oneself is definately the hardest things to do. I know all too well. Thanks for sharing! Hey, Welcome here to Passions!  |

Nice content Rebecca, but I have to agree with Femme but readers arn't concerned with how it may be easier to type. Appearance to the reader means everything. I'm sure you feel the same... Right..? If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. Rebecca, welcome. . . this was an excellent poem, full of the thoughts that we have when we don't know what the next step will be. . . all I can say is. . .follow your heart. . . Rebecca, Girl, I like your writing. You don't know how much I relate. "MAYBE I EXPECT TO MUCH FROM SUCH A SIMPLE MAN DEMAND MORE THAN ANY MAN COULD EVER REALLY GIVE IT'S POSSIBLE THAT I DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN AND TURN MY BACK ON WHAT I CAN TRULY SEE AS SOMETHING THAT IS MEANT TO BE" I have done this before - and regretted it so. My high expectations have been such a problem for me. Consider hanging on to him - that special feeling you've got for him is so very hard to come by. The truth of this brought tears.
