I知 sending hugs and kisses from above
To let you know I知 thinking of you still;
I知 safely snuggled in His arms of love
In Paradise, according to His will.
One joyous day you値l see me once again
When time and space no longer separate
Me from your side; we値l be together then
A blessing that no one can confiscate.
Until that day remember I love you
And that I知 smiling down upon your way
To give you strength in everything you do
To fill your heart with cheer from day to day
And playing with the angels all the while
So Mommy dry your tears, give me a smile.

Denise

Denise,
I'm near speechless.  I haven't lost anyone but have often daymared about it.  Our children are extensions of ourselves and in every way I feel it every day.  Thank you for this wonderous poem.  I'm sure it will be a comfort to some.

Oh Denise...this is absolutely wonderful...may I add it to my collection for a booklet I am going to be making up to give to grieving parents who've lost an infant?

Denise--this touches me so...and recalls the memory of my son at five telling me he saw his sister, who died at eight, in heaven watering the flowers and that she told him she was fine.

Denise, you made me cry but in a soppy way all over again...flipping tears...

Beautiful poem...it's nice to know we're not forgotten...I hate mother's day...stupid, huh?

Big HUSG

Martie, I do believe that sometimes reassurances are given in some way or maybe it's just my way of believing that there has to be a reason...

Big HUSG...I was posting as you were and was thinking about you and then you popped up in front of me.

Thank you, you inspired me to write one of my own.  This is beautiful, and of course, I'm crying too.  I just don't know what to say...it took me almost 5 years before I could even talk about it to anyone out loud.  Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

You captured the hearts and feelings of all the children that were taken from their parents before their time should have been.  Great poem.

Gloria - Thank you for reading and commenting. I know there are many here who have experienced this tragedy and my heart goes out to them.

Rob - Yes, I know what you mean. My heart aches for those who have had this nightmare become a reality. Thanks for your lovely comments.

Ruth - You certainly may. I'd be glad to help, even in a small way, to ease the pain of a grieving parent. Thank you.

Martie - My heart goes out to you for your loss. Those dreams, I believe, are really messages from God to help ease the pain. I see she has a heart for tending flowers just like Mom. HUGS

Cindy - No, it's not stupid, I would hate Mother's Day too, if I were in your shoes. My heart goes out to you too. HUGS

Amy - Thank you so much for your lovely comments!

Gen - My heart goes out to you as well. I can't even begin to imagine the depth of the pain. HUGS

James - Thank you for your lovely comments!

LoveBug- Thanks for reading and for your lovely reply!

Dawn Eclipse - Thank you too for reading and for your kind reply!

Denise, what an absolutly beautiful and thoughtful poem.  My eyes and my heart were full as I read this.  It is my belief that all of God's children are in a wonderful playground and all are excepted for who they are.

What a caring and thoughtful poem, this, Denise.

I am glad to have read this one. This gives so much support to the heart of parents who have lost their young ones.

Thanks for posting this one.

Oh my. This was beautiful. Ya know, the Bank President in a small town where my parents live, lost his daughter to cancer some time back. Once in a while my parents say how depressed he gets and how much he wants to "go" now and be with his little girl. We all keep telling him God has work for him here still. I think (with your permission) I'll print this, and send a copy to him. I'll do that in hopes that it brings a smile to his face at least. Thanks for this poem. This man and his family have been on my mind a lot recently, and this is perfect for what I'd like to say.

Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau"

Yes, Temptress, by all means. I'd be honored to be able to help in some small way to ease a grieving parent's suffering. Thank you for your lovely comments, too!
