The raindrops streak slowly down
My window to the ground
Where will they finally stop
Not sure about every drop
They fall steadily from the cloud
No reason to feel proud
Of all that has passed
A puddle of tears has been amassed

Things said out of anger
Taken seriously is the danger
We both bear the guilt
For the walls that were built
Will they ever crumble
Think we could be so humble
To allow for the healing
Of this awful feeling

Would do anything to make it right
Not having to endure another fight
Let go of the hurt and pain
Purify this wretched stain
Imprinted upon my heart
Repair it and restart
Find a love so very new
Fresh as the morning dew

LoneWolf,
Your emotions come out so clearly in these words.  Wanting to do something, willing to do anything, yet not knowing what.  I hope it works out.

"Purify this wretched stain
Imprinted upon my heart"

This is a wonderful phrase LoneWolf, and indeed a wonderful poem. Your remorse and tears speak loudly and sorrowfully.

Best wishes for a brighter day,
/Kit

What's that saying. . . "Into every life a little rain must fall"?

It would seem that you have found an umbrella. . .

Excellent writing. . .
