Flaxen hair, charming smile A sight here to behold A charming and alluring style Passions' poet so bold. A listless wandering spirit Made both of frolic and dismay, A jesters heart, Why fear it? Tis all happiness and play. Alas I know her only by pen Perhaps I'll never see her Only the poet that hides within The lost and lonely seeker. Words like song from her pen flow To grace the waiting ears Of those of us here down below Who dream of being peers. Guard well thy heart, Dear Poetess As you share your warmth and love, For it is by far the most precious Of your gifts from up above. Knowlege tempered by wisdom...Wisdom tamed by youth. |
