IS SHE OUT THERE?

Wonder today, is she out there?
Someone meant for just me.
Who wants nothing more than to share
Love for eternity.

Someone who'll see the truth inside
This heart I long to give.
Who'll bring out emotion I hide,
Who'll teach me how to live.

Someone who's love is genuine,
Someone who's heart is true.
Someone who everyday of life
Will give her life anew.

Someone who'll take me as I am,
Forsake the tarnished past.
Someone I can open up to,
In dreams to everlast.

Fragile enough I can hold her,
Strong enough to stand alone.
By every feeling set astir
By every gesture shown...

Who'll know I'm thinking about her
In everything I do.
Who without words will speak to me
By softest shades of blue.

Wonder today, is she out there?
This woman I dream of.
Who wants nothing more than to share
The rest of life, in love.

Great picturisation, wonderful imagination as ever, Michael.

I can sense the longing and desire to be embraced by a woman to whom you wish to gift all your love. She must be definitely out there... All it takes is just a little patience...

This was beautiful hon full of such longing. I truly believe there is that special person out for you. And you know what? She is going to be wondering where you been all her life too  ...and I agree with Denise, any woman lucky enough to "snag" your heart is a very lucky woman indeed. I hope you find all the love and happiness you deserve!

Take care m'friend.

Micheal, my friend, I totally believe that there is a special "one" for each of us out there. The time spent waiting will make it all the more sweet when you do find her. So just be patient m'friend. I know that can be difficult , but you'll see.

Great heartfelt poem by the way. Not in your usual style, but elegant none-the-less.

All my love,

Sudhir, Ah - patience is a virtue - but certainly not one of mine...LOL  I guess I'll learn this one the hard way.

SEA, I hope so...

Sunshine, you always make me smile you know that?  I ain't really looking, just kind of wondering.  Well, o.k., maybe I'm peeking just a little.

Denise, I'm kind of wondering if my heart is even "snaggable", I think it's been closed off to feeling, anymore.

Amy, If she is out there, then she is certainly worth the wait, I do believe.  Here's to hope... and to fate.

Jeffrey, yeah, me thinks the style changes with my mood...

Janet, now just how am I supposed to know what you're gonna say here?...LOL  Alright, I won't push...hehe

Thank you all for the kind replies

A wonderful combination.

Fragile enough I can hold her,
Strong enough to stand alone.

Whoever and wherever she is, she must be pretty special because you've been waiting all this time.  Remember that and keep hope.

Um ... yep, and after reading THAT sticky-sweet mess, she would have to be "OUT THERE" to have anything to do with you ... ROFL!

Ahem.  Well, I'd like to say it was a nice thought, but it wasn't even that ... how about a good laugh..?

You are too much ...

An Angel spoke these words to me
In answer to your prayer
A woman waits in your future
A love with her you’ll share

She has the eyes of love
To see inside your soul
She has the ears of kindness
That will hear you halved or whole

Her strength and her gentleness
Will compliment your own
Her desire to be with you
Are seeds her love has sown

She will accept you, sir
As the loving man you are
She will be your moon
As you will be her star

Her dream is to love only you
She’s waited all her life
To find the man, the poet,
That will take her as his wife.

Michael, my dear friend, she is there somewhere...hold on..you'll find her..

Michael.......
She is out there searching for you and thinking the
same things you are thinking of her.
Love is patient.....
Give her time, she'll find her way to you!

I wonder now, if the light shines
through the fog, however dim,
Wonder does the melody
still linger through the din?

I wonder now, if love, beseech,
as flounder whale upon the beach?
Brushing sand that clings to leg,
I wonder can my heart be saved?

However futile it may seem,
shell to ear, echoes my dream---
if I should dare to open wide...
should I withdraw within the tide?

Well, Michael another heart touching
poem - though this one shines of hope!

Love it.  Yes, she is out there - no
doubt -- just remember to let her chase
you a bit ----before you catch her --)

One of these days you'll be walking down the street and run smack dab into her! It's gonna catch you when you ain't looking! Stop looking awhile, relax, and that woman is prolly gonna show up right on your doorstep
Good luck from your own personal cheering section..besides there's always Rose Red if you decide waiting is too hard *wink*

liked the poem too btw!

This is an exquisite poem.  It tells my own love story with my husband, much better than I could.
~ ~ ~
It haunted me, what you said about perhaps not being "snaggable" any more.  I can tell you, though, from experience, that even when a person truly feels crushed to a place where they wonder if they CAN love any more, that longing to love and be loved is always quietly waiting in the back of the mind, and yes, it CAN come to life again, and awaken with great joy.  It is the time of waiting that is so terrible difficult and sad.  Never give up, Michael.  Never give up.  Keep that tiny candle burning in the back of your heart.  You're a very rare person, and a wonderful poet, and there's tremendous love inside you.

Lori, a wonderful combination, Indeed, and very special...

Kit, well I can't imagine expecting it any less than I do right now...LOL  but I know what you mean...TY

SY, somehow I don't think my words are reaching her.

Kess, I know you mean well, really I do... so I will laugh with o.k.

PdV, always...

Sheri, We'll see, I'm sure.

serenity, your words are a blessing to me.

netswan, she's probably gonna have to do a lot more than chase me at this point...

Brandyn, I am sure many relate to the longing and pondering in this, TY

Angel, I sure miss Rose Red, where's she been hiding at anyway?

devina, I think fate chewed me up and spit me out, dear...  and about my softer side, I guess it slipped...

Rosemary, your words are very kind and have touched me deeply.  Thank you.

Ruth, I think I'm don't looking and done waiting too - if that makes sense...

Thank you all for the gracious comments.

well, is she or isn't she? is there just one she for one he?

ummm..... there's plenty of them out there, michael... and none of them, i'm sorry to say are the one and only 'right' one... that's a myth... no one person that's meant for you... when we girls grew up, we watched/read cinderella and waited for prince charming and were told by mom that one day the 'right' one will come along... well, hon, that's what's been wrong with relationships for a long long time... everybody is expecting some kinda perfect relationship because that's what they were taught would happen...

But...there just ain't ONE 'right' one... there could be LOTS of 'right' ones... it's a matter of finding one who's right WITH you in values & life goals & lifestyle & interests ... one who can commit to you (for what that's worth because these days, reality is witness to the fact that some people's commitments are short term things... LOL).... anyway... this is just my take on it... so for what it's worth... to me, this way of looking at things is liberating... and not depressing... it is a way to open up all the wonderful possibilities... and focus on loving yourself first... the many she's will follow... and hopefully one of them will be a reasonably good match, which is the best you can really hope for

so... as far as the poem, it's a bit more simplistic than your usual writing but an enjoyable read

and as far as your question... i would have to answer "no, SHE isn't out there... but LOTS of SHE's are out there!!!"

so.... go shopping... have fun.... hehe

luv, pan

Pandora,

The simple fact that I give my love unconditionally.  That I am willing to grow and change to meet the needs of a relationship and work with my partener to keep love new.  And the fact that I believe in giving love loyally to only one person at a time lead me to believe there has to be a woman out there who feels the same.

If I am wrong in this - well I am in for a lifetime of broken hearts... but that's o.k. I'd rather go that route than giving up and settling for a fling here and a fling there that may only suffice to partially fill an otherwise gaping void - and only do that for small periods of time.

I know - I am a Hopeless Romantic...LOL  But I think that terms is abused.  I think it should be a Hopeful Romantic...  cause truly, only when I am convinced there is no match out there for me who holds the same values in love that I do will I ever be "hopeless".

Thank you for your detailed reply and allowing me to voice my opinion here as well.

michael, i didn't say to stop being a hopeful romantic... it's a lovely way to be and i, too, am the same way. giving love totally and unconditionally is the only way to do it...

yes, there are plenty of women out there looking for a man to love them that way... i am one of them... haven't yet found it, unfortunately...

all i was saying was that there is not ONE woman for you... there are thousands of women for you... it's just a matter of selecting well.

And i wasn't suggesting one night stands or flings... when i said, "go shopping', i meant to keep your eyes, mind, & attitude open for the endless possibilities of the thousands of available women who would love to be loved

and that doesn't mean settling... it just means being realistic... nothing is 'perfect'... but many different women could be 'perfectly suited' for you

God bless you, my friend...

luv, pan
