I can only be who I am
     A tender, caring, compassionate man
Someone who loves life and lives to love
     A kind, gentle, supportive man

I've shown you who I am
     A funny, warm, loving man
You've seen the good and the bad
An impaitent, sometimes insecure, sometimes childish man

I've shown you what I am
     An empathic, understanding, outgoing man
Someone who helps others along the way
     A healing, peaceful, spiritual man

I've shown you everything that I am
And it may be true that I am loved by many
And it's true that I love many in return
But deep in my heart I only have one true love

. . . that's you
You are the only one who holds my heart
You know its shadings and shifts
But yet you question my heart
     Even after all my gifts
My heart holds true love only for you
For you and you alone angel from above
Want to know how I feel about you?
Merely look and see. . .this man in love. . .

Sven,
Very nice writing.  Touching and heartfelt throughout this piece.  Romance at its best.  Whoever "she" is that hold your heart, is lucky indeed.

Sven~
I've said it before you have the most beautiful heart and soul and it shows in this, the woman you wrote this for must be very special and dear to you.

Sven, this is beautiful and Iagree with Ruth, if she can't see it in these words then she is blind as a bat indeed!!

Just lovely

Sven.... I hope she has read this and see's just how
all of your heart belongs to her! I would just melt if some one
wrote as much poetry as I have seen here lately.
I would melt if my man would even just write me one. hehe
She is very lucky to have someone
love her so much! Some one as loving as you!

Wonderfuly written
