this simplistic yet well thought out piece really hit home with me. you are quite smart my friend...and have a way of communicating those feelings/thoughts on paper. *applause*. you are so right...we only change if we WANT to...and no one can MAKE another person change.
take care, amy

There is so much truth in this, and most people don't believe folks can change! You can do anything you set your mind to, I always say. And I know for a fact, change is possible, if you truly want it, you will find a way to do it. AMEN! LOL Short and so darn sweet! Loved it!

The winds of change can sometimes be a good thing, so long as the change is a postitive one. Sometimes we think we want people to change, then the rare times they actaully do, we want them back how they were. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.
How true, how true. You nailed it beautifully. Lori

I loved the responses...thank you all very much. Marina my first wife wanted me to change and to be less controlling and when I did she told me she liked me better the way I was before. She liked having someone in control. I have changed quite a bit for myself and I like the person that I am today. James
