Playful Ink Of Think
~*Marge Tindal*~

She sits within my inkwell
Prissy musing impish grin
Daring me to quill her
Sipping her to my pen

Splashing about impatiently
She makes her presence known
Daring me to grab her
Making her thoughts my own

I go about my business
Ignoring her as best I can
Suddenly I am splashed
With her ink upon my hand

I grin and dip my quill
Gently within her ink
Okay, okay, come out and play
You little muse of think

She's in her glory now
Spreading her thoughts in song
She writes in impish laughter
'What took you so gosh-darn long ?'

Yep ... and even more info on the muses in Masters new poem ... now that's inspirational for sure !
We all need to heed our muses call.
(like I could ignore this insistent little one !)

You are more than welcome for the muse, Camilla ... remember to keep her warm, even though it is your winter time.
You are delightful and I have so enjoyed
our chats.

Thanks for the *hug* ..

Well, I never thought of myself as a muse ...
AMUSING, perhaps !
If you ever need musing ... feel free to call on me !

Amy~
Thank you, sweetie.  She's funny alright !

Jeffrey~
You're adorable.

Claire~
Oh, she's whimsical alright !
Not to mention INSISTENT ...
you'd just have to be here to see
her pitch her little flirtatious fits.

Devina~
She IS prissy !
You should see her antics trying to get
my attention.
I don't make this stuff up ...
I swear she's REAL.
She's my muse of comedy ... and when she wants to play ... she will let her presence be known.

Awwwwww !
I love you all !

This is my playful muse
I should miss her if she went.
But if she doesn't mind her manners
it may be to Philly she gets sent.

She really is an impish one
but I've failed to mention,
I have to keep the inkwell filled
when she demands attention.

Her musing name is Poppie
and it fits her well.
She is forever popping
in and out of the inkwell.

She gives me much delight
spreading her laughter about,
but she pitches little fits
if I don't let her out.

*Thanks, Denise.
I have several muses in the
lease/loan program.
Love ya'

I am glad that you find writing so easy, because you are very talented at it . I can just immagine the little impish grin, very discriptive . Writing is one of the most enjoyable past times, so enjoy yourself lots. Great poem . L.of.L. Tom .

Your little musing quill,
Does make music and song,
I can hear the voices so shrill,
Each moment of waiting seems so long.

Often as I finish reading,
What your muse has had to say,
I end up waiting and longing,
To see if the imp has had her way.

Ink splashing, ever so sweetly,
A dash of colour, sprucing a flower,
Come spring, come winter, looks so lovely,
Rainbow even with pots of gold, seems all the more lower..

Poppie sure sounds quite correct,
Singing with spread thought,
Forgive me for being so direct,
Please let there be forever be ink in her pot...

------------

before I keep on with this, as  I sometimes tend to go overboard, let me say, what wonderful work, I have seen here. For the minimal no. of days here, I am impressed to the hilt. So many wonderful poets here, ready to share what they feel. I am blessed to be here and am enjoying it...
Marge, once again this is terrific work, and I should say it again that I am forever waiting to read more work from you....

Warm regards,
sudhir

Now you've done it !
Poppie will want even MORE recognition.
It makes me happy to see your little jump-roper !  Glad it's a favorite.

Tom~
Thank you so much.  My muses do make it 'easy' .. but sometimes they can crack a mean whip !

Sudhir~
Definitely NOT overboard !
I can see the little muses are working you overtime too.
Thank you for sharing this inspired piece.

And then...

some time after five Am.
when the ocean rolls I slip in my robe

and these words break away with ceasing response
to the telephone hails and kindred spirits lie near secured
dales bay in the hush silent of the twilight pale and nightfall
stoops low to caress her day while voices say in the wood
that flows some time after five when the tide goes low

though shadows purple may darken my trail
past ebbing tides where the arcane sail
I shall fare thee well with a wee
dip of ale and a ripple of
wry water and share
thee a tale of
a lonely
floating
excursion
away towards

mysticque.

If I could paint a portrait, of this life in which I've led, and somehow sketch a story, of the visions in my head, I'd start out with a canvas, stretched tightly in a frame, and in the bottom corner, I'd leave room to sign my name. (Michelle A. Bartley)

Wow.  Where can I get one like this?  Yours and J. Marie's are something else.  You and your muse are enjoyed by all.
